January Events With TRYP
Welcome to the new year with TRYP! This January we have some great events coming up that you’ll want to be a part of.
On Wednesday, January 14th, the monthly South Shore Mixer will be inside the Tahoe Beach Retreat at their new tavern appropriately called “Tavern at Tahoe”. The Tavern is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful copper lighting, thick pine bar and tables, and a great view. The fun starts at 6PM and, as always, is free for members. If you aren’t a member of TRYP, admission is only $10 and includes appetizers and one free drink.
On Wednesday, January 21st, TRYP will have the first workshop of the year, titled “How to be a Visionary at Work.” The workshop will be in the boardroom of Nichols Consulting which is at 155 Hwy 50, Suite 204, Stateline NV. The office is next door to the Stateline Medical Center, across the street from Lakeside Inn & Casino. Andrea Drew of Drew Consulting will be directing the workshop which will, among other things, address how to take a leadership position in your field. Sounds like a perfect workshop for starting the new year off right. Again, this is FREE for TRYP members and only $5 for non-members.
Finally, on Wednesday, January 28th, we have the North Shore Mixer from 5:30PM to 8:30PM at the Mellow Fellow Pub in Kings Beach. TRYP is fairly new on the North Shore, and personally I haven’t been to a mixer up there yet. I DO plan on attending this one though, and really hope you will join me. We have a great group of members up there who are anxious to make connections with South Shore community members. Mixers are FREE for members and only $10 for non-members.
If you are interested in becoming a member, it costs $40 annually. Key benefits and resourses for TRYP Members include: Professional Development opportunities; networking and mingling with other young professionals through Mixers and “FUN”draisers; leadership experience; civic engagement; and opportunities to give back to an array of charities. Sign up at any of the events in person, or online at www.tahoetryp.org.
